Not necessarily. It's possible that a section of your roof is compromised or that damage occured in one place only. We'll conduct a thorough investigation of the entire roof before suggesting repair options.

Different roofing systems have different lifespans. Most 3 tab shingle roofs will last 15-25 yrs. Most architectural shingles will last 20-30 yrs. We typically install a Certainteed Landmark PRO shingle, this is a lifetime shingle that should last 30 years under optimal conditions.

Most homeowner's insurance policies cover storm damage to most roofing, siding, and gutter systems.  However, each policy is unique and the coverage can never be guaranteed until all factors are known. There are certain policies that have storm damage exclusions, sub limits to limit the storm damage payout, etc. It's best that we take a look and discuss with your agent so that you get the best information to base decisions on.

Ideally, spring and fall are the best times in term of temperature. However, those are also our rainy seasons here in Northern Kentucky. So that can present some problems. In general, we prefer the air temperature to be below 100 degress and above 55 degress, Farenheit, to install your roof.  There are exceptions to every rule, we just have to take more care and the installation may be a little slower.
